On one sunny day in 1996 in Perth, Western Australia, I was brought to my first Yoga class by the beach and instantly fell in love with the practice. Back then in my early twenties, although it was growing rapidly, Yoga was still considered as being quite unusual, something very much out of the norm. Yet it spoke to me in ways no other (movement) practice had.

Very quicklyI discovered Yoga was way more than a physical practice and as my interest grew so did my hunger to learn. Eventually after several years with my first teacher Sam Weinstein, I set off to travel the world and ended up continuing my yoga studies in Mysore, India with  Sri Acharya Venkatesh, together with my soon to be husband Lucas.

After more intense studies Lucas and I moved to Innsbruck, Austria and founded Antaratma Yoga Shala in 2003 – a school which creates space for students to come, practice, grow and be inspired.

Over the  years and two children later, I have continued to grow and learn as a student and teacher of Yoga. Through life´s experiences both on and off the mat I choose to fully embrace the ups and downs and try to take each moment with as much humour and love as possible.

Teachers whom have particularly inspired me over the years include: Sam Weinstein, Sri Acharya Venkatesh, Donna Farhi, Judith Lasater, Sarah Powers, Josh Summers and Shiva Rea.

I am inspired to teach both slow and deeply meditative to energetic, strong and inspiring classes. From Vinyasa to Yin and from Prenatal Yoga to Baby Yoga, all my classes are infused with love and gratitude and a deep sense of creating joy and acceptance within.

I am so grateful and excited to share my knowledge and grow together with you! With blessings
